so ive been doin some research and realize that there are two different vilcabambas….one in equador and another in peru. scince playing lara croft anniversary, ive become inclined to believe that the vilabamba in peru is still undescovered so far….am i correct?
and are there really 2 vilcabambas? oh and one more thing is the peruvian vilcabamba like the one in tombraider?
oh lol i researched again and answered my questionz!!!the peruvian vilcabamba was dicovered in 1999 by a group of archeologists. the ruins they found were on a cliff in the andes mountains just like in lara croft
vilcabamba in ecuador is a tourist trap in loja, but still green and beautiful. it’s in the southeast mtns of ecuador.
there are two vilcabamba in peru from cusco district, one is new vilcabamba, a village (which traveler encounters first), then past espiritu pampa farther down in mtns. is “old” vilcabamba which is the ruins that are being visited now
